We now have a date set for our Annual General Meeitng! It will be held on Thursday June 18 at 7:00 PM. More details will be provided as we get closer to that date. If we are permitted, we will hold the meeting at the church for everyone. If we are limited, we will have to hold the meeting via ZOOM, or we may have a combination, inviting those who are unable to connect online to come while the majority would participate online. We will sort that out in a couple weeks.
Did you konw there is loads of information about Compassionate Ministires on the Nazarene Compassionate Ministries website? Check it out. Here is a short list of some examples of what information you will find:

March 24 marks the 10th Sunday that we have not had services open to the public in the building. Some of you have been asking when we can gather together again. I expect it will be some time yet as it will involve several factors including both the Yukon regulations (and sometimes recommendations) as well as the directive from our district office.
While I am very eager and ready to meet as the church, together in one place, we will need to wait a little longer yet. When we do open it up, there will definitely be some who come right away (and that's great) and some who hold back many more weeks (and that will be perfectly fine too). The important thing is to let everyone come at their own pace once we do open.
In the meantime.... please remember that we CAN meet for visits and informal occasions in groups of up to 10 people (with spacing limits and other safety measures in place). So if anyone would like to visit, have coffee, pray together, etc; please do contact us at the church office.

You might be interested in knowing that at the recent church board meeting one-time donations to the Whitehorse Food Bank and Habittat fo Humanity Yukon were approved. I'm grateful for a church that not only considers (and gives) to global needs, but also to those within our community.
Our worship service is LIVE on Facebook, Sunday mornings at 10:45 am on the Whitehorse Nazarene Facebook Page. If you have any prayer requests, please private message Whitehorse Nazarene with your prayer need.
The following are online weekly events through ZOOM online meetings:
- We invite you to join our zoom Adult Bible Study Sunday morning at 9:45 am.
- We invite you to participate in our second series of studies by Max Lucado; "You'll Get Through This" Wednesday night at 7:00 pm.
- We invite you to a weekly Prayer Meeting, Wednesday nights at 8:30 pm.
For those who are looking to contribute their tithes and offerings, we encourage you to give, as the Lord leads you, either by eTransfer to: email@example.com or by credit card using the app or website "tithe.ly" We also welcome checks that are either mailed or dropped off at the office.
Whitehorse donations being used! While we are far away from major centres, we are still able to be a part of the solution. We received this letter from Nazarene Compassionate Ministries Canada in response to a donation that we sent earlier in the year.
"I was recently notified of your generous donation to NCM Canada... The $1000 for shipping containers through Compassionate Resource Warehouse is very much appreciated. Recent containes (early 2020) were shipped to Cote d'Ivoire and Mozambique. The container to the Iory Coast was filled with items for a school, clinic, and for ministry to widows and orphans, persons in prison, and women involved in microfinance small groups.... The container to Mozambique was filled with furnishing an equipment for a skill development centre, mechanical and carpentry tools, sewing and hairdressing equipment, pastor training supplies and household items for widows and orphans."
