Polices and Handbooks
Feel free to view/download any of the policies or handbooks as necessary.
Local Abuse Prevention Handbook
This handbook outlines the procedures for both the protection of our volunteers as well as for the protection of children, youth and any vulnerable persons. All those who work with children and youth are required to sign a document stating they have read, understood and agreed to abide by this handbook. The document is located at the last page of this document. Signed documents need to be handed in to one of the pastors.
RCMP Criminal Record Check
The document outlines the process we follow regarding a criminal record check, required for all those working with children or youth. It is important to note that having a clear CRC does not automatically qualify one for working with children or youth.
Designated Giving
In the Church of the Nazarene, when someone makes a contribution to the local church, the local church in turn, makes a contribution to the district and general church. This policy explains how we deal with contributions made to specific funds.
Van Usage Policy
This policy explains the responsibilities of the driver of the church van, as well as the requirements. Only those who have been specifically listed on our insurance policy are permitted to drive the church van.
Benevolence Fund Policy
As God's people, we are commanded to care for one another, as well as to care for others in our community or even those who are passing through. As an integral part of the ministry of our church, the Benevolence Fund provides financial assistance to individuals or families who are experiencing financial or material needs.
Building Usage
Our building is used extensively throughout the week and we therefore do not have any available rental areas. Individual members of the congregation may use our facilities (provided they are available) for personal use.
