About Us

We would welcome the opportunity for you to get to know us.

We are a Christian congregation that has been serving in Whitehorse for nearly 60 years.  We are also part of a global church that serves in 164 countries with over 30,000 congregations and a membership of 2.5 million (with about 25% of those being in the USA and Canada).

We are a church that believes you may discover forgiveness, peace, joy, purpose, love and meaning in life and the promise of heaven when life is over by entering and experiencing a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

We believe in the power of God to change lives; there can be victory over sin, power to witness and serve, and a richer fellowship with God. This happens for the Christian by the sanctifying (purifying) fullness of the Holy Spirit.

We encourage you to visit with us a few times, get to know us, and give us a chance to get to know you.  You will find a warm welcome here and discover opportunities not only to encounter Jesus as your Savior and Lord, but to grow as a follower of Christ.

What are our services like?

Our order of service generally follows this basic outline:
  • Pastor Norman begins the service and leads a song or two.  This usually includes a prayer and scripture.
  • We will have announcements and a free-will offering.
  • We will have a selection of songs.
  • We will dismiss the children to Sunday School (except in the summer months)
  • We will have time for prayer.
  • We will have the ministry of God’s Word.
  • We usually conclude with a song and benediction.

Sunday Services: Tagalog (9:00), English (10:45 am)
