Welcome to the Whitehorse Church of the Nazarene. The Church of the Nazarene has been serving in Whitehorse since 1963 and in the Porter Creek subdivision since 1978. We invite you to join us for worship, Sunday mornings at 10:45 am. In addition to this, we have a variety of programs for children, youth and adults throughout the week. We are located at 2111 Centennial in Whitehorse, Yukon. If you are coming from town, just take the Alaska Highway northbound. You will see the Church of the Nazarene from the highway on your right hand side at the north end of Porter Creek (just before you get to Crestview). Park anywhere and come in through the front double doors. Our church office can be reached at 867-633-4903. Our daycare office can be reached at 867-633-5520. For our friends who are from the Philippines, our sister church, the Whitehorse Filipino Church of the Nazarene meets at 45 Boxwood at 10:00 am on Sunday mornings. |

Ten years ago the Church of the Nazarene started a second congregation for the Filipino community in Whitehorse. Over the years we have had two congregations in one building; the Tagalog service at 9:00 am and the English service at 10:45.
By the grace of God both congregations have been growing. For the past year or so the Filipino Church of the Nazarene has been looking for a new location, somewhere where they can hold services at 10:00 am and where they can stay longer to enjoy fellowship and all the blessings of being a community.
The Anglican Diocese of the Yukon has provided their property at 45 Boxwood as the new home for the Filipino Church of Nazarene. The English congregation will continue to meet at 2111 Centennial Street and the Filipino Church of the Nazarene will now be meeting at 45 Boxwood, meaning that Whitehorse now has two Nazarene churches.
