Teslin River

The Teslin River trip is a 5 to 7 day trip starting from Johnson's Crossing and ending up in Carmacks.  We have enjoyed several such trips, both with our family and with our friends.  Most days you will encounter very little contact with other people, especially if you are not going in the peak of summer (whenever that is).  We generally take our freighter canoe - which means we can be very comfortable - as we can carry plenty of supplies (as you will see in the pictures).  Most people, however, don't use a freighter canoe. They paddle.  And that's fine too.  It just means you can't have quite as many comforts with you!
