Seven Areas of Life Training
Seven Areas of Life Training® (SALT) is a discipleship series designed to teach people God’s plan in the seven areas of life: spiritual, psychological, social, physical, financial, marital and parental. SALT uses simple diagrams to illustrate foundational Biblical truths making them easy to remember and share with others.
God’s plan for people encompasses every area of their lives. 

It was a couple of years ago that we offered the Seven Areas of Life Training series.  Each of the seven areas were covered in four weeks.   It has been suggested that we can do three of the units starting October 1st and ending December 17.  These would include Spiritual, Psychological, and Social.
I was pleased with the material and the discussions that we engaged in the last time we offered this.  It includes a short weekly video (15 minutes?).

A typical evening would start at 7:00 and end at 8:30 (or earlier).

Clarion Call
Clarion Call is put out by the same organization that offers SALT.  According to their website, Clarion Call challenges, inspires, and equips your leaders to go and make disciples all nations. Clarion Call contains 12 interactive teachings and small group activities. The series includes the Leader Guide, Student Workbooks and PowerPoint CD.

The objectives of this course are to – 
1. Build a Scriptural foundation for Biblical discipleship 

• It is important to build a firm foundation from the Word of God about discipleship so we can share the significance of what God commands us to do. 
  

2. Teach the basic principles and skills of discipleship 

• Throughout this course we will teach you basic Biblical principles and give you tools that will help you disciple others more effectively. 
  

3. Encourage participants to continue to grow as God’s disciples

• God tells us He is faithful to complete the good work He started in us. This work can be accomplished as we seek to be discipled by God and others. Discipleship is a lifelong process! 
  

4. Equip believers to become self-initiating and reproducing disciplers 

• This course will teach you Scriptural foundations for Biblical discipleship and basic principles for discipling others, encourage you to grow as a disciple, and equip you to become a self-initiating, reproducing discipler. We are the Church, and if the Church isn't reproducing, it will become ineffective!
  

ReIgnite
ReIgnite is a five week online study put on by the Billy Graham Online Training website.  Their web site states: Reignite your faith and your passion for evangelism with this course designed to strengthen, prepare, and train you to effectively share what you believe, according to God’s Word.  The videos, worksheets, and Bible-based studies in ReIgnite’s five online lessons will equip you to walk daily with Jesus Christ and share your faith in Him through your personal relationships.

There is a cost of $49 USD (per person).  Even though this is set up for individuals to do on their own, it can also be done by a group.  Check their FAQ section for more information.


Course Outline

Lesson 1—The Effective Christian Life

• Explores biblical principles for living a life that pleases God, the preeminence of the Bible, and reliance on God’s power for effective service.
  

Lesson 2—The Victorious Christian Life

• Examines the reality of our daily walk with God and presents God’s provisions for it.  The result is an abundant life walking with Him, victorious over both temptation and adversity.
  

Lesson 3—The Christian’s Witness

• Shows how our lives, yielded to God, can be a powerful witness to others. Practical tips for an effective witness are presented.
  

Lesson 4—Follow Up and Care of New Christians

• Presents the concept of friendship evangelism and shares practical ways we can follow up with those we lead to Christ.
  

Lesson 5—Discovery Group Training

• Training in the principles of leading new believers in discovering the basics of God’s Word.
  

In addition to the easy-to-follow lesson presentations, assignments deepen the learning experience.  Course participants complete short Bible study, memorize key Bible verses and submit discussion forum posts.  This comprehensive approach deepens the Christian faith of participants in a self-paced learning environment.
