Sunday School

WHO: Each week we have a team of dedicated teachers who offer Sunday School to boys and girls age 3 to grade 4.

WHEN: Sunday School is held during the last 30 minutes or so of our morning worship service.  During our service, at around 11:20 am, the children gather in the church for "Children's Corner" (usually led by our pastor).  Following this, the children are dismissed to Sunday School.

WHAT: We use the "Eureka!" curriculum, published by The Foundry Publishing.  The curriculum is designed with all three age levels (Pre-School / Kindergarten, Younger Elementary, and Older Elementary) studying the same passage of scripture each week.  This means that kids in the same family go home sharing discoveries from the same passage of Scripture in their own age-appropriate ways.

HOW: Each lesson is covered over a period of two weeks, allowing for time to really dig deep in a passage and giving kids the opportunity to ask necessary questions and spend time figuring out how it connects to their lives today.

SCOPE: The Eureka! curriculum is comprehensive and systematic.  Below is the content for a full year.
