Night 108 - March 7
Air Hockey/Pool Tournament: For our first ever youth group table sports tournament we played a combination of pool and air hockey.
Gabriel H. did quite a good job at playing both pool and air hockey at the same time, because
while playing air hockey he hit the puck which flew through the air and landed in one of the pool table holes!
Now if that's not skill I don't know what is!
Soon after arriving someone got stuck in a snow bank, so we all went outside to dig the car out.
After at least half an hour of digging we hooked up the car to the church van and yanked it out!
We then went back inside to finish off the tournament.
While finishing up we had had some chips and pop - youth food - and ended the night with a devotional - real youth food!
Night 109 - March 28
Balloon Towers: This night brought back memories of our balloon olympics we had a while back.
This time we built two balloon towers... one in the shape of The Eiffel Tower, and one in the shape of a rocket ship!
One of the towers was made up of about 70 red balloons, and the other was made up of about 70 blue balloons.
Both of them were so tall that they nearly touched the roof!
At one point The Eiffel Tower did touch the roof, but the towers had to be completely free standing so we shortened it a bit.
It took over an hour to build both of the towers, but when they were complete we took some photos and had a "blast" destroying them!
