Night 97 - December 7
Games Night: Once again, the youth got together and played some great games. I wish I could have been there, but I was sick with the flu!
Night 98 - December 14
Christmas Caroling:
Last year we went Christmas Caroling at various shops downtown, but this year we drove around Whitehorse and sang carols for people who attend our church.
It wasn't that cold out, at least compared to what it could have been!
While we were driving into riverdale, we were stopped at a police check and then given treat bags as a Christmas gift from MADD.
We sang songs such as Joy to the World, Frosty the Snowman, Deck the Halls, and many others.
Sadly, we didn't do sleigh ride... but maybe next year!
Night 99 - December 22
Christmas Party:
This was our third ever youth Christmas Party.
The first year it was at a ranch, the second year it was at the Hajian's, and this year is was at the church.
We started the night with a gift exchange in which everyone received a gift, from candy to a Staples Easy Button to a singing frog to a flash drive.
Afterwards the group split up - half the youth watched a movie upstairs, while half the youth went downstairs for games.
We wanted so much to play spoons, but we couldn't find a deck of cards.
That's okay though, because we had tons of fun playing games such as Graveyard.
There were also lots of snacks! You wouldn't expect them to last long in a room full of youth, unless of course they had a very, very, very big meal prior to coming to the church.
