Night 47- October 6
Our 5th ever movie night was great, like always. We made some popcorn, and brought out some other munchies and ice-tea. We watched The Count of Monte Cristo!

Night 48- October 13
Our 5th swim night was also great! We went swimming at the hotsprings once, at Long Lake once, and at the Canada Games Center twice before this week. Now, we have been to the Canada Games Center three times.
The best part of the swim was getting into the pool, the worst part was getting out of the pool.
But even after that we went to the gym and played a breath-taking game of dodge-ball. When it was time to go it was snowing!
Night 49- October 20
What a wild time we had at the church for our games night!
Sadly Megan wasn't there, so we had to come up with the games ourselves.
We played wink (handshake style), human knot, human pyramid, hide and seek, gladiator, and the shoe game.
The only thing that was missing was the wisdom of our youth leader!
Night 50- October 27
This was our 50th youth event!
What a better way to celebrate it than to help others out and participating in operation Christmas Child!
After meeting at the church, we broke up into two teams.
We drove to Wal-Mart, where we shopped for toys and nick-nacks, using the money the youth pitched in.
These treats will be put in shoboxes and sent to the other side of the world in time for Christman for kids whose parents can not
afford to buy them Christmas presents.
After we bought the items we went back to the church and wrapped them up.
This was a great ministry opportunity! If you would like more information about Operation Christmas Child,
go to the Samaritan's Purse website. After we wrapped up the gifts,
we celebrated a certain someones birthday, and after giving him birthday bumps and eating cake, we
"wrapped up" the night with a devotional.
