Night 29- May 5
Once again we met at the church and had a movie night, there was a lot of popcorn! We watched Hangman's Curse.
Night 30- May 12
This was our 30th youth group night; we met at at the church and played games.
We played The Lord of the Rings Trivial Pursuit, Spoons, Pit, Knot, and many other games.
Knot was a favorite. To play Knot everyone has to stand in a circle, close their eyes, reach into the circle, and grab two hands.
The object of the game is to untie the human knot so that everyone is back in a circle. This game takes a lot of brain power and teamwork.
Night 31- May 19
As a fundraiser for the youth group, we picked up garbage along Range Road.
There were 20 people that showed up to help, so we broke up into teams and cleaned up different areas of the road.
We all found interesting objects: car pieces, CDs, coins, bags, bottles, a fork, spoon, fast food garbage, and even a working flashlight!
When we finished the road, we went to the church for ice-ceram and a devotional.
Night 32- May 26
The weather has been so nice lately, and we've been taking advantage of it.
We played an outdoor game called "Bible Runners". There were two teams, guys vs. girls. Each team had to sneak to the other teams side without getting caught, and drop off bible points.
If one was caught, they were put in jail until a member from the same team tagged them. Which ever team snuck the most bible points to the other teams side won.
We all had a great time, even though someone fell into the creek!! We had cupcakes and a devotional later on.
