Children of Haiti

Wherever we went in Haiti, we were greeted by children.  From the moment we arrived in Docine, when the children literally greeted us with a song, to the time we said goodbye in Petit-Goave, the children were warm and friendly.  We were often surrounded by kids.  They would sit with you, walk with you, and reach out and touch you.

Why did they trust us so?  Was it because we were on a mission trip?  Perhaps. Maybe they don't have the boundaries that we so often put up.  Whatever the reason, it was wonderful to spend time with these delightful kids.
