The regular Adult Bible Study (Sunday mornings at 9:45 am) follows the curriculum from WordAction Publishers, providing a comprehensive study of themes and books of the Bible.

                                                                          March - May 2012
Unit 1: Four Days that Changed the World
Join us as we revisit four days that changed the world forever. Spend time with Jesus at the Last Supper, in Gethsemane, before the Sanhedrin, in the palace of Pilate, at Golgotha, and at the empty tomb. Celebrate the resurrection of our Lord.

                                                                          Unit 2: After Easter
Easter is past. Go with the resurrected Christ to the tomb, the garden, the upper room. Meet with him on the seashore, at the ascension, and on the day of Pentecost. Catch a new vision of what Jesus meant when he said, "I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever - the Spirit of truth" (John 14:16-17a).

                                                                          June - August 2012
                                                                          Unit 1: Samuel's Legacy
How does a faithful God work in the midst of an unfaithful people? After arriving in the Promised Land, the people of Israel soon turned to the practices of their pagan neighbors. Yet god remained faithful to his promises to them. Time after time, he raised up a leader - a judge - to come to the rescue of the errant Israelites. But they wanted more. They wanted a king.

Unit 2: Godly Living: Titus, Philemon
Paul and Titus introduced Christianity to Crete. But Paul left Titus there to organize the converts. Later, Paul sent a letter to Titus, instructing him about faith and conduct. Paul also sent a letter to a slave owner named Philemon.

                                                                          September - November 2012
                                                                          Unit 1: Partners with Paul
What was it like to deal day after day with the idiosyncrasies of the perfectionist, Paul. Find out how the partners of Paul learned not only to cope, but to excel as they worked in relationship with the preeminent apostle.

Unit 2: Yet Will I Trust Him (Job)
Spend four weeks examining the triumph of the faith of Job. In spite of the loss of his possessions, his family, his health, and his reputation, he held on to his belief in God's beneficence and did not lose his faith.

Unit 3: James: Just Do It!
Tired of hearing that the Christian faith isn't practical for day-to-day? In this four-week study of the Book of James, this pillar of the New Testament Church lays out some ground rules for believers, both ancient and modern.

                                                                          December - February 2012-2013
                                                                          Unit 1: The Early Years
Join us for a study of Jesus' birth and childhood. Follow Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem for his birth, and to Jerusalem for his presentation at the temple. Revisit their flight to Egypt and their return to Nazareth. Go with Jesus to the temple for his first passover.

Unit 2: Jars of Clay (2 Corinthians)
Participate in a study of Paul's second letter to the church at Corinth. It was one of the vital churches of the New Testament, and yet one that struggled with immorality. The letter is timely for the church today. Many of the issues that confronted the church at Corinth are with us today - issues regarding lawsuits, marital problems, instability, and misuse of spiritual gifts. Read and study some of the most beloved portions of the Bible.
